The Professional Bachelors Business Management and Applied Computer Sciences of Howest University College engaged in the ambitious European Erasmus+ KA2-project entitled Consume-Aware. The full name and purpose of this project is “Enhancing Quality in Innovative Higher Education about Consumer Awareness”.

This project coordinated by the University of Economics, Katowice, Poland is having as partners prestigious EU and non-EU higher education institutions: Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (Finland), IAE Savoie Mont Blanc (France), Budapest Business School (Hungary), Universita degli Studi di Trento (Italy), University of Bucharest (Romania), Isik University (Turkey) and Howest (Belgium).

It runs from 2016 to 2019. The international component stimulates the expertise and creativity of all partners thus contributing to the project final products: an e-learning platform comprising an e-book (also in printed version) and a mobile application. Team spirit, professionalism, the exchange of experience between the partners involved in this endeavor provides the project with an interdisciplinary working framework reuniting professors with expertise in various fields such as: marketing, IT, specialized terminology, law - the overall asset of this project.

From the 6th until the 8th of June 2017 we participated in the third meeting of the European Erasmus+ project organized by Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (Finland). In January 2017, we took part in the second meeting organized by Budapest Business School, Hungary. The first meeting in November 2016 was organized by University of Economics, Katowice. Next meeting is in de Universita degli Studi di Trento (Italy).
